Dozens of students from classrooms all over Massachusetts competed in the first-annual LEGO Education Landmark School Competition in Boston this past weekend. The competition was held in conjunction with the Boston LEGO KidsFest event.
A total of 13 classrooms or student organizations were selected as finalists for the event and submitted a build for the landmark of their choice. Landmarks on display included: The Chelsea City Hall, The North Bridge, The National Landmark, The Great Pond, The Boston Common Sign, The Old Granary Burial Ground, The Bunker Hill Monument, The USS Constitution, Faneuil Hall, Fenway Park, The CITGO Sign, and the Duck Boats.
Congratulations to our first-ever LEGO Landmark winners:
1st place: Fenway Park by Meadowbrook School fourth grade class
2nd place: The CITGO Sign by Meadowbrook School's second grade class
3rd place: The National Landmark by Lancaster 4-H
